How do menu weeks work?

Menus are grouped by delivery or cutoff week. Customers choose meals from the menu weeks you publish for upcoming dates.

Steps

1. Open Menus.
2. Click Add new cutoff time to create a week and display name.
3. Select the week tab.
4. Click Add new menu to choose meals for that week.
5. Repeat for each upcoming week you want customers to see.

Why is Add new menu disabled?

Create a cutoff time or menu week first. The app needs a week before it can attach meals to it.

What happens if there are no upcoming menu weeks?

The storefront widget and customer portal show an empty state telling customers that no upcoming menu weeks are available.

Can I still create a one-off menu when rotation is enabled?

Yes. Manual weekly menus work as one-off overrides. If you need a holiday menu, special event menu, or temporary seasonal menu, create a manual weekly menu for that period start date and customers will see it instead of the rotating menu template.
