How do I change the menu page layout?

Menus → Settings → Menu layout controls how many meals the storefront menu shows per row and whether each card carries its product description.

Steps

1. Open Menus and select the Settings tab.
2. Under Menu layout, choose how many meals per row the menu shows (2 to 5; 3 is the default).
3. Turn 'Show meal descriptions' off if you picked 4 or 5 per row.
4. Save.
5. Wait up to one minute for the storefront cache to refresh, then preview the menu page.

Frequently asked questions

I set 5 meals per row but I only see 4 — why?

Meals per row is the maximum for a wide desktop screen. The menu shows fewer on smaller screens so the cards stay readable: below about 1100px wide it drops to 3 per row, on tablets it fits as many as will fit, and on phones it always shows one. Check on a wide monitor, or resize your browser window wider.

What changes when I pick 4 or 5 meals per row?

The menu page gets wider so each meal card keeps a readable size, and the cards switch to a compact form — a square photo, tighter spacing, and a smaller title. Meal descriptions are turned off by default at these settings because the cards are too narrow for them, but you can turn them back on.

These settings used to be under Settings → Branding.

They moved to Menus → Settings, next to the other menu card settings (tags, nutrition, price per meal). Nothing about your storefront changed — only where you edit it.
