How do I see which menus are included in an order?

Open the customer's subscription contract to see scheduled delivery dates and the meals selected for each upcoming subscription order.

Steps

  1. Open Subscriptions.
  2. Select the customer's subscription contract.
  3. In the order/menu section, choose the delivery date tab you want to inspect.
  4. Review the table of selected menu items for that delivery date.
  5. Use the button above the table to change that delivery date's menu: it shows Edit menu when meals are already selected, or Add menu for a period that has no selection yet (for example an automatically scheduled upcoming order). The choices shown are that period's own menu.
  6. Use Edit next to Next Order to change the next scheduled order's menu selections.

Frequently asked questions

How do I print packing slips for a delivery week?

Open the Orders page and find the delivery week's section (for example 'Jun 29–Jul 2'). Click 'Print packing slips' at the right of the section header: a print view opens with one packing slip per order — customer, delivery address, and the selected meals with quantities — ready to print or save as PDF. Skipped, cancelled, and failed orders are left out automatically.

How do I check menu selections from Shopify Orders?

Open the Shopify order and inspect the subscription product line item details. The first checkout stores selected menus as line item custom properties. After the app processes the subscription order, selected menu products can also appear as additional order line items with a 100% discount labeled by the meal kit app.

Can I see menu selections for every Shopify order?

The app shows stored menu selections for subscription billing records. Recent paid Shopify orders are linked from the subscription detail page, but paid order fulfillment and final order details should still be checked in Shopify admin.

Why do I not see any menu items for a delivery date?

The customer may not have chosen meals for that period yet (common for automatically scheduled upcoming orders), or there may be no upcoming menu week connected to that billing cycle. When the period has a menu but no selection, use the Add menu button above the table to choose meals on the customer's behalf.

Why does a one-time order show more than one fulfillment section in Shopify?

When your store uses two menu periods per week and a customer buys a package that spans both (for example a 5- or 6-day package covering meals in both periods), the app splits the Shopify order's fulfillment into one fulfillment per delivery date. Each fulfillment section lists the meal products for that date, so you can fulfill each box on its own delivery day. The customer still pays once; the order total is unchanged.

Why is part of an order on fulfillment hold, and when is it released?

For a package that spans two delivery dates, the app places a hold on the later date's fulfillment so it isn't shipped with the first box. The hold is released automatically when that date's order cutoff passes (the same moment the menu locks, based on your Delivery days cutoff setting), and the fulfillment then shows as ready to fulfill. You can also release the hold manually from the Shopify order page at any time.
