Steps
- Customers open the portal link for their subscription.
- They enter their email to receive or use a secure sign-in token.
- They pick an upcoming week from the delivery rail to review its meals.
- They edit meals, skip or unskip when eligible, and update preferences.
Frequently asked questions
How does a customer see the status of each week?
Every upcoming week appears as a card in the delivery rail with a status chip: Scheduled (meals picked), Pick meals (nothing chosen yet), Skipped, Paid (already charged), or Closed (past the order cutoff). Selecting a card opens that week's meals below. There is no separate status list to open — the status is visible at a glance on each week card, and it updates immediately when a customer skips or unskips.
Can I open the portal as a customer?
Yes. Open the subscription in the app, click Customer Portal, then open or copy the generated portal link for troubleshooting.
Can customers update their shipping address?
Yes. The portal's settings section has a Shipping row with an Edit button that opens the shipping address form.
Can customers update payment details?
The portal sends a secure Shopify payment method update email. Customers update payment details through that secure flow.
How are servings shown for a week's meals?
Each meal renders as an image card. For plans that have a servings dimension (two-part variants such as '2 / 4') the card shows the serving count as meta text; single-option plans like '6 days plan' have no servings concept, so no serving text is shown. If a recipe is chosen more than once the card shows '×2'.
