How do app pricing plans work?
Pricing plans are based on subscription revenue and feature access. If monthly subscription revenue exceeds the current plan limit, the app recommends the next suitable plan.
Steps
- Open Pricing.
- Review the current plan and monthly subscription revenue.
- Compare available plans and feature limits.
- Choose the recommended plan when your revenue exceeds the current limit.
- Confirm changes through Shopify billing when required.
Frequently asked questions
Why am I asked to upgrade?
Your monthly subscription revenue may have passed the current plan's revenue limit, or you tried to enable a feature included in a higher plan.
Which features need a higher plan?
Rotation menus and menu templates are included from the Growth plan. Selection sections (add-ons) and rendering the storefront pages inside your theme are included from the Pro plan. The two-menus-per-week structure (Tue–Thu + Fri–Mon) is an Enterprise feature. Everything stays visible in the app — enabling a feature above your plan shows an upgrade prompt, and it unlocks immediately after you approve the charge.
What happens to a gated feature I already use if I downgrade?
Nothing breaks for your customers: menus, sections and rotations you already configured keep working on the storefront. You'll be asked to upgrade again only when you try to change those settings.
Where is billing confirmed?
Paid plan changes are confirmed through Shopify billing, so the charge appears inside the merchant's Shopify admin billing flow.
