Clearer paid add-ons and a smoother menu on phones
September 29, 2026
Three things on the storefront menu were getting in customers' way: paid add-ons that read like part of the plan, a first week tab that phones could not reach, and a pinned checkout bar that only appeared on evergreen menus.
What changed
Paid add-ons are labelled as extras. Above the menu, customers read that their plan includes a set number of meals and that items in your paid section are extras added on top, charged per item. Each paid item's price reads + $22.00 extra, an empty paid section reads Optional, and when a customer adds extras the checkout bar breaks the total down — for example 5 meals $55.00 + 1 extra $22.00. Your own section names are used throughout, and nothing about pricing or limits changes.
Every week tab is reachable on a phone. When there were more week tabs than fit on a small screen, the first one was cut off on the left and could not be scrolled to. The row now starts at the first week and scrolls from there.
Keep the checkout button on screen now applies to week-by-week menus. The setting promised a checkout bar pinned to the bottom of the menu page, but until now only evergreen menus got it. Every menu customers reach before subscribing now pins the bar when the setting is on.
