Orders and production improvements

The production workflow now carries more of the order context kitchen teams need. Servd shows the Shopify order reference in the app, prints clearer packing slips, and gives Meal Demand a billing-status filter for tighter production checks.

What changed

Orders in Servd now include the Shopify order reference and link back into Shopify admin. Packing slips print the store name, Shopify order number and meal plan, so printed sheets are easier to match to the right customer and box.

Meal Demand can now be filtered by billing status, making it easier to separate paid, pending or skipped work before printing or exporting production totals.

Why it matters

Kitchen and support teams often move between Servd, Shopify and printed prep sheets. Keeping the Shopify order number and plan visible reduces lookup time and makes the handoff from digital orders to production clearer.

For local delivery orders that Shopify does not allow Servd to edit, selected meals are recorded in Shopify's Additional details instead, so the order still carries the customer's menu selection.

How to use it

Open Orders for order-level details and Shopify links. Use packing slips from the Orders workflow, and use the billing-status filter in Meal Demand when preparing the kitchen sheet for a specific delivery period.
