Menu templates

Menu templates let you save a set of dishes once and reuse it, instead of rebuilding the same menu week after week. They're also the foundation rotating menus are built on — a rotation is just templates arranged in order.
What it is
A template is a saved menu — a named collection of the meals you want to offer together — that you can apply to any delivery week. Build it once, then drop it into a week whenever you need it, and edit the week afterward if you want to tweak it.
Why it matters
Most meal businesses reuse the same menus on a cycle. Templates turn that from copy-paste-by-hand into a one-click apply, and they unlock rotating menus: because a rotation cycles through templates, you can't automate the calendar until your menus are saved as templates first.
How to set it up
In the Templates tab, build a menu and save it as a template. Apply it to any week from the weekly menu view, or add it to a rotation to have it scheduled automatically.
