Customizable welcome email

The first email a new subscriber receives can now sound like your business. Customer emails gives you control over the welcome email's subject and body, while keeping each customer's personal manage-subscription link in the message.
What it is
A new Customer emails editor lets you customize the welcome email sent when a subscription is created. The body supports basic HTML, and merge tags insert the customer's first name, your store name and domain, and their secure manage-subscription URL at send time.
Why it matters
A generic system email is a weak first touch. Matching the wording to your brand makes onboarding feel continuous from checkout, and a clear personal portal link helps customers manage meals, delivery dates or their subscription without contacting support.
How to use it
Open Customer emails, edit the subject and body, and use the live preview as you work. You can send a test email to a real inbox, reset the copy to the Servd default, or turn the welcome email off entirely before saving.
